Recent Sweets
It's been a while since I've posted any pictures of my sugar creations, so here's a slide show of my sweets from the last several months. Pop some popcorn and pull up a chair. I've been busy!

John Merritt "Soccer Machine" Wilkerson
John Merritt had his 3rd soccer game tonight. He was a MACHINE! I think the game has finally clicked with him and the practice that he and Daddy put in this last week has really paid off. He was all over the field after that ball! He even scored a goal! AND he had a great time playing.
Of course, soccer player in training was there playing on the sidelines. Check out the shirt mom fixed him.
He loves to play ball.
"Our goal is that way!"
He's got the ball!
Digging in!
"Hey man, watch those hands!"
Getting a little instruction from Coach.
Taking a water break after scoring a goal!
Talking to his buddy Jessie.
Go John Merritt! Go Jessie!
Shaking hands after the game.
And THIS is what we do after an exciting soccer game gets us all wound up! (don't worry, they're clean!)
Boys. Enough said.

Wilkerson Fun!
Legos are the thing right now! Oh the things these boys will build. Samuel likes for Daddy to build a yedacopter (helicopter.)
Playing with Pickles.
Afternoon snack and outside fun.
Where did Sam go?
Silly!
John Merritt's illustration of his Bible story "The Lost Sheep." I'm thinking that his spelling of the word "shepherd" may have something to do with Mommy's accent? Maybe? And we're still working on "ee double ee, always says ee."
Cute Boys!
Best Buddies!
Here's another drawing from our science lesson.
Can you tell he's excited about winter and the possibility of snow?
It's fun to play outside after a long morning of rain! Who knows where his shorts are.
No comment necessary.

1st Soccer Game and New Critters!
Saturday was a big day for the Wilkersons. John Merritt played in his first ever soccer game! He was a little overwhelmed at first, but he got the hang of it and jumped right in after a while. Isn't he cute in his uniform?
The other big news of Saturday is that we welcomed 2 cute kittens to our family. Cats are not Mom and Dad's favorite animal if you know what I mean, but our boys love animals so much, and chickens just aren't that cuddly and playful. We thought a couple of OUTSIDE cats would fit the bill.
Meet Pickles. Does anybody remember that book "Pickles the Cat?" In the book, Pickles was yellow with black polka dots. We couldn't find one with those colors, so gray will have to work.
And here is Pepper.
May the Lord have mercy on them both!
But why can't I hold them Dad??
Here's a new smilebox with a few other pictures and videos from our week. Enjoy!
